Every story in the book — and most in the Briefing Room — has a place attached to it. Switch basemaps to move through the eras: parchment for the desert raids of the Second World War, terrain for the Cold War jungle and jebel years, and satellite recon for the post-Regiment diaspora.
A note on accuracy. Pins are placed at real historical locations using verified coordinates. Dispatches are drawn from the open historical record — Stirling, Mayne, the LRDG war diaries, Mike Kealy at Mirbat — with the Peanut Club's own colour added where the story allows it.
